The Outdoor Harvest Coffee Table is made out of sustainable Iroko using traditional cabinet making joints such as the ‘Dovetail’, ‘Mortise and Tenon’ and ‘Half-laps.’ These techniques enable the movement of the timber throughout its life and ensure the durability of the table in the changing outdoor environment. Finished with a natural grey oil the Outdoor Iroko Table develops a worn-in aesthetic as it ages, which is a trait distinctive to solid wood furniture. Traditional Steel bolts are a special feature of this design, used to hold the timber in place in the extreme outdoor temperature and moisture conditions. With use over time, light surface cracks may develop and the timber may turn grey due to UV exposure. Structurally the design will maintain it’s integrity.
